Trip Lifecycle
- Trip statuses now follow one consistent lifecycle from Draft and review through publication, booking, operation, completion, cancellation, interruption, and closure.
- Status changes have clearer restrictions around editing, booking, catalog visibility, monitoring, cleanup, and Trash eligibility.
- Confirmation now checks that the trip has a usable itinerary that has not already ended before monitoring, billing, and configured payment communication begin.
- Before confirming, cancelling, interrupting, or closing a trip, Ops Center shows a clear summary of what will happen and asks the operator to confirm the choice.
- Accountable post-publication edits record who changed what while keeping traveler notification under operator control.
Traveler and Partner Access
- Private trip links now open a dedicated workspace for the itinerary, Messages, Files, map, preparation tools, and supplier confirmations.
- Private workspaces remain focused on travelers and assigned trip participants: they show lifecycle context but never registration, pricing, or booking forms. New registrations continue through the public catalog trip page.
- External identity resolution is stricter so signed-in accounts and private-link credentials do not silently switch authority during a request.
Booking, Rooming, and Preparation
- Join-request approval can carry valid selected hotel room upgrades into operational rooming while rejecting forged or conflicting pricing selections.
- Room-upgrade names and prices are clearer across itineraries, accommodation, booking, and billing surfaces.
- Supplier booking outreach and confirmation states are more reliable, with deterministic calendar status, visible notes, and safer retry and editing behavior.
Portal Presentation
- Flight rows show complete local departure and arrival context when it is available and preserve a readable fallback for older or incomplete trip data.
- Itinerary images support additional side placements with consistent desktop and mobile alignment.
- Portal branding can apply configured body and heading fonts, while headings, sales surfaces, early-payment wording, and dialog controls are more consistent.
- Moving from an embedded catalog into a trip now stays embedded. Catalog and trip pages grow and shrink with their content without leaving blank space, and booking dialogs stay centered in the visible part of the host page.
- Portal caching now avoids stale asset references while keeping generated assets efficient.
